Intro: Wow... All I can say is wow. This game is everything I would be looking for in a video game, except for some minor flaws. Modern Warfare 2 is a game that is very enjoyable to play, alone, or with your buddies. One of the best games of the year, no doubt. This is one game that is worth reading about, check it out!
Cons: The game may be not suited for people who aren't fans of FPS games, this is purely an FPS. It might be too hard for some people, though starting out on a lower difficulty level can make it way easier. The story line might not be as self explanatory as most people might want, unless they have played Modern Warfare 1. This video game isn't the best for the feint of heart either. There is no character development, unless you think characters changing sides in the story is real development. The "down the barrel" aiming style might be hard for some to catch on, though it is moderately easy. It also seems that almost all the scenes out of this game are either from the show "24", or some other action packed film. If you don't pay attention to the cut scenes of the game the player might start wondering, "why is a character doing this?" Or, "How did I end up here?" The gameplay moves around the world, so paying attention to cut scenes is necessary. Xbox Live does have it's worse days though, the weapon "Akimbo Model 1887" is so over powered it's like holding two mini sniper rifles that have auto aiming and a one hit kill, and MANY people tend to use it. When someone enters a Live match they might encounter glitchers, and hackers regularly. I tend to play on Local Xbox instead of Live, because I don't want my K/D messed up by hackers and glitchers.
Overall: This game is one of the best games I have come upon in a long time. Probably better than Halo 3, and others. The perfect game to play with your friends on a weekend.
Overall Score: 9.5
