Iron Grip: Warlord is a action/indie great game. Even though I only have the demo, I found it very fun and surprisingly addictive. Demos are usually not so great (Not that all demos are bad, some just don't help convince me to buy the game much) , limiting your options for play. But this game handled that nicely, letting you use a lot of weapons and fight numerous enemies. Though you are only able to use one map it's still fun. The basic idea is that you have to defend against huge swarms of enemies. Once you deplete their moral, you win.
The story seems sound, though one thing I don't get is that: You are fighting the Confederates (This game IS fictional, I know...) and you are the Atelians. Ok... The word confederate doesn't mean that "The guys in the south during the civil war". But then why do they make a civil war reference by making a RIFLE that shoots one bullet, and then has to reload, AND also looks like a civil war weapon. You also have tanks, floating airships, rapid fire machine guns, AND rocket launchers. I am REALLY sure that those weren't used in the civil war. It kind of seems like the developers wanted to make a civil war game, but then didn't have enough time so they made a fictional sci-fi game. That much doesn't really make any sense.
This game is only $10 which makes it just great. The demo is utterly free, and you can get it easily on Steam. The game isn't even that bloody, except for the bloody explosions when you throw an explosion into a mass of troops. If you have some money laying around, this may be something you'll want to spend it on!
